Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksYellowish Brown indicates the muted warm tone family around ochre, camel, and dusty tan used on subjects or supporting areas. In buddy icons, the cue appears in fur, skin, or background planes where the color keeps the image subdued and earthy.
