Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksWhite Stars marks buddy icons that include one or more white star motifs, regardless of whether stars are sparse accents or repeated pattern elements. Even a few tiny stars can carry the cue when they contrast strongly against warm or dark backgrounds.
