Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksUmbrella includes buddy icons featuring an open umbrella as the focal object, either as weather gear or beach shelter. Common clues are canopy color, handle and shaft angle, raindrops or sunshine cues, and text layered around a beach or storm scene.
