Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksTurquoise marks buddy icons where cyan-blue-green hues are a defining palette cue, often appearing in seascapes, name text, or decorative accents. Even if not dominant, a turquoise field, water tint, or heart mark can anchor the icon and guide quick identification.
