Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksText Overlays are icons where lettering sits directly on top of character, object, or scene content and becomes part of that visual scene. You can see names, captions, and short poem-like lines layered over faces, pets, or food so the text and image share one composite focal point.
