Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksText Distortion means lettering is intentionally warped, fragmented, or blurred so the words feel unstable or energetic. Fringed pixels, jagged edges, and motion-like smears may split or stretch glyphs, making the text itself the graphic effect rather than clean copy.
