Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksSweet labels buddy icons with gentle affectionate styling, often using hearts, cuddly figures, and soft decorative symbols instead of sharp action cues. Small motifs like bows, halos, hugs, or pastel accents usually carry the tender tone in these images.
