Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksStylized Face describes faces rendered with simplified, exaggerated structure instead of realistic anatomy. In buddy icons this appears as large geometric eyes, flat color planes, and tiny marks such as whiskers or hearts that define expression at tiny scale.
