Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksStencil Like Text uses letters and labels that look like they were cut through a template, with strong edges and hard interior gaps. This gives words a bold, appliqué feel, especially when set with symbols or simple icon shapes around them.
