Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksStems denotes icons where a plant stem is a visible part of the main subject, such as a flower stalk, pumpkin stem, or fruit attached to a line of growth. The stem-blossom relationship is the recurring structure, with stems, leaves, and petals carrying meaning even in tiny pixels.
