Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksStars is the motif tag for icons that include one or more clear star shapes as graphic elements. Star marks often combine with short phrases, so small points of light help the image read quickly at tiny size.
