Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksStar Like Symbols identifies buddy icons decorated with small pointed star glyphs used as accents or separators around text and empty space. These marks may appear in uneven clusters or trailing chains, adding sparkle without dominating the central subject.
