Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksSplit Screen buddy icons divide one square into separate visual zones, often left and right, so each side can hold different content. You can use this cue to read a portrait with one message side, or two distinct faces and text blocks in the same icon.
