Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksSpirals identifies icons dominated by coiled, ringed, or looped patterns, sometimes repeated in grids or paired as linked shapes. Focus on curl direction, nested arcs, and overlaid text contrast to spot these icons quickly when other elements are minimal.
