Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksSoccer identifies buddy icons tied to the sport through football imagery, players, goals, and text celebrating the game. Look for high-contrast balls, netted goal scenes, or branded text on vivid backs as the quickest way to read them at 50x50 scale.
