Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksSleeping identifies buddy icons showing clear rest cues such as closed eyes, Zzz marks, or heavy eyelid poses. The figures may still hold small emotions like crying or singing states, but the key detail is the sleep signal itself.
