Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksSci Fi And Horror collects icons with science-fiction and spooky imagery, including strange creatures, eerie faces, skeletal forms, and occult symbols. Look for sharp teeth, glowing eyes, pentagram or skull motifs, and high-contrast color shifts that make the subject feel tense or uncanny.
