Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksRetro Digital Font is pixel-leaning block typography with square geometry, stepped edges, and a digital-era mood. It often appears in short all-caps captions, and the lettering itself becomes a major stylistic signal.
