Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksRepeating is a pattern-driven buddy-icon look where the same phrase, symbol, or motif appears again and again in a structured rhythm. In these buddy icons, the eye catches mirrored text and heart motifs or repeating borders as the main structure, often filling the tiny frame with a grid-like cadence.
