Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksRaises Arms applies to characters with arms lifted away from the body in an expressive gesture. The cue is the open limb position, often paired with smiling faces or text so the posture remains the first thing you notice.
