Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksRainbow Stripes describes multi-hue color banding arranged in stripe-like bands, arcs, or frame edges around a focal point. In buddy icons it often appears as colorful borders, striped halos, or heart-and-text embellishment that adds a festive edge without needing complex detail.
