Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksPositive is a mood category centered on encouraging phrasing and optimistic symbols. In buddy icons it is carried by messages of praise, hearts, peace signs, smiling sun motifs, and bright text color pairings.
