Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksPole focuses on a long pole or post as the visual spine of the buddy icon, whether held by a figure or fixed as a sign mount. Signs, top markers, and banner text that sit along the vertical line are strong visual evidence.
