Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksPimpettes identifies a text-heavy buddy style where bold phrases are combined with stylized figure or heart imagery on saturated backgrounds. Repeated declarations, pink and black color fields, and small face or text-only layouts are used to distinguish this set from generic phrase cards.
