Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksPastel refers to a soft palette of muted pinks, mints, lavenders, and whites in buddy icons, usually with gentle transitions rather than hard color edges. The look is airy and light, with simple textures, florals, or faces sitting in a calm chromatic balance.
