Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksOlive Green identifies a muted yellow-brown green used prominently in buddy icons, frequently as a solid background, backdrop strip, or item color. In these examples, olive areas frame pixel text and characters in ways that make color grouping easy when scanning many tiny icons.
