Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksNo Visible Animation Changes indicates repeated icon states where movement is effectively absent. Composition, text, and subject placement remain steady enough that two or more observations read as the same image at normal viewing pace.
