Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksNeon buddy icons mimic luminous display signs through electric color pairings and glowy text forms that look vivid against dark or muted grounds. Small star marks, bright outlines, and color inversions help the composition appear illuminated at reduced resolution.
