Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksMustache marks icons where a moustache or beard detail is a defining facial feature, usually in close-up portrait or character icon framing. In buddy icons, this trait is often paired with hats, glasses, hair styles, and short expression frames, keeping identity distinct despite low resolution.
