Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksMountain Dew Logo icons reproduce a recognizable logo-like word and color layout tied to the brand’s neon-green and red style. The brand mark, stylized script, and drink-themed supporting text are usually preserved, even in very small pixel dimensions.
