Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksMotion Blur Effects use deliberate streaking, smearing, or softened edges to imply movement across the icon space. Sample frames show blurred hair, gradient figures, and text edges, where the blur is a visible cue even when the rest of the image stays still.
