Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksMonochrome buddy icons limit color to a narrow family, most often black-and-white combinations with occasional single-hue repeats. They focus on silhouette, line, and contrast, where black text, white symbols, or dark backgrounds carry legibility even without broad color variety.
