Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksLogos buddy icons present mark-centric designs where a text or symbol pair makes the icon readable as a badge, monogram, or headline graphic. Lettering contrast, emblem outlines, and compact geometry carry meaning even when image detail is minimal.
