Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksLight Blue Stars points to icons with small light-blue star motifs used as scene decoration or punctuation marks. In buddy icons, these stars appear scattered around figures or text and remain visible even when other details are simple.
