Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHockey Sticks describes icons where hockey equipment is the core motif, especially crossed sticks or a player poised with a stick in hand. In buddy icons, this shows up with pucks, ice-court color cues, goalie poses, and bold team-style labels that stay clear in small scenes.
