Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHelmet identifies buddy icons where protective headgear is the defining element, from visor-masked faces to sports shells shown in small portraits. Shell outline, facemask seams, and sticker or team text near the helmet usually carry identity when facial details are tiny.
