Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHeart Shaped Icon uses a literal heart silhouette as a defining graphic component, often as a corner stamp, badge, or framing shape. The heart may carry text, sit beside figures, or sit as a small icon near another subject while keeping its shape unmistakable.
