Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHeart Appears flags the presence of a clear heart glyph, symbol, or heart-shaped burst directly shown in the composition. The icon often pairs the heart with a name or short message so you can use its position as a quick recognition marker.
