Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHeadphones are compact over-ear devices with side ear pieces and a headband, shown in buddy icons as black, white, or pink earpiece silhouettes near faces or upper bodies. They are frequently paired with music-note glyphs, hearts, text phrases, and small beat effects, which makes the sound theme readable in motion.
