Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHead Turns Left To Right shows buddy icons sequenced so a subject turns head orientation across nearby views instead of staying fixed. The shift in cheek angle, eye line, or jaw direction is the key cue, even if costume and body shape change little.
