Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHand Drawn buddy icons use intentionally rough strokes and uneven lines as if drawn with pen, marker, or pencil at low resolution. Look for shaky lettering, doodled hearts, and hand-lettered symbols that stay visible even in small buddy icon thumbnails.
