Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksHamburger is a food-oriented buddy icon category featuring burger stacks as the focal graphic, commonly with buns, lettuce, cheese, and sauce visible. Distinguish it by food-first framing and playful text lines, where even one burger icon and condiment details are enough to identify it.
