Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksGreen Stars refers to repeated star-shaped symbols in green shades used as decorative framing or backdrop in buddy icons. The stars may dot a border or surround a figure, adding sparkle-like structure without obscuring faces or primary text.
