Read the short historyRecovered from the early web
Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksGreen Plus Signs highlights buddy icons where green plus-symbol motifs are placed as a recurring graphic accent. The plus marks may float near text, change color, or cluster over bright fields as playful punctuation-like details.
