Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksGreen Border refers to buddy icons framed by a clear green boundary, often enclosing text blocks or simple portraits. Small symbols, names, or decorative marks inside are organized by that border, giving each piece a contained layout.
