Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksGlowing Effects denotes buddy icons with luminous treatment: radiating streaks, star-like blooms, or soft halo edges around core marks and text. These highlights can be subtle, so check for concentrated brightness around symbol centers or lettering.
