Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksFloral Patterns identifies buddy icons that include flowers, petals, vines, or floral motif elements within the composition. The floral parts may sit in the background, frame text, or blend into costumes and can be the key cue at small sizes.
