Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksFashion gathers icon graphics built from clothing, footwear, and style cues, with apparel-like shapes, logos, and accessory motifs arranged for tiny displays. In these examples, denim textures, sneaker silhouettes, and outfit lettering often stand in for garments and fashion detail even when most of the image is tiny block color.
