Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksEnthusiastic buddy icons center on excited phrasing and expressive composition, often with cheering text, exclamation-heavy captions, and upbeat punctuation. You can usually spot the mood from animated-like energy in lettering, star bursts, and intense pose or fan-note framing.
