Buddy icons survive in old directories, fan sites, downloadable packs, and web archives. The archive preserves the original files, groups known copies, and records where each one was found.
How the archive worksDotted Trails points to dotted or stippled paths that follow symbols, stars, or highlights as motion cues. In buddy icons, those tiny points can trail around objects and make otherwise static layouts feel active.
